Day 1 : Arrival Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)
You will be met upon your arrival in JRO; and transfer to Hotel in Arusha.
Accommodation: Outpost Lodge (Deluxe)
Day 2 : Arusha & Tarangire
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch; the park is renowned for its large elephant population. Game drives in the park.

Standard & Deluxe: Tarangire Safari Lodge

Day 3 : Tarangire & Ngorongoro
Another game drive safari in Tarangire; then later in the day, drive to overnight in Ngorongoro.

Day 4 : Ngorongoro & Serengeti
Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for game drives in the crater, exploring the short-grass plains of the crater floor. This extinct volcano embraces 100 square miles alive with lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, buffalo and much more game. Later in the day, drive to overnight in the Serengeti.

Day 5 : Serengeti
Game drives safari in the Serengeti exploring the rolling plains of Serengeti National Park in search of the large predators and the gentle herbivores on which they feed,

Accommodation & Meals: Same as Day 4 for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 6 : Serengeti (North and West or South)
Game drives safari in the Serengeti exploring the rolling plains of Serengeti National Park in search of the large predators and the gentle herbivores on which they feed,

Accommodation & Meals: In mid Dec to March we stay at Ndutu, April to June we stay in West Serengeti and July to November we stay in North Serengeti. Ask us for different accommodation options in each of these areas, and Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 7 : Serengeti & Lake Manyara
After breakfast another game drive in Serengeti, then drive to overnight in Lake Manyara with an optional visit to a Maasai Village and/or Olduvai Gorge at an extra cost.

Day 8 : Lake Manyara (Safari or Cultural tour), Arusha (day room), Kilimanjaro & Departure
Morning game drive safari in Lake Manyara Park. The park is home to colorful birds, elephants, zebras, giraffe, hippos, antelopes and other animals.
Alternative (instead of game drive safari in Manyara): After breakfast, we drive to nearby Mto wa Mbu area (4+ miles from Manyara Park’s gate) to do an approximately two hour cultural tour which will include visiting banana or rice plantations as well as a walking safari with traditional healers who will explain the medicinal values of the indigenous plants.
We will drive back to Arusha for a day room to freshen up before proceeding to JRO airport for your evening and night flight back home.
Estimated driving time: 2 hrs to Arusha, plus 50 minutes to JRO
